All families need shelter, utilities and food in order to thrive. When these basic needs are in jeopardy, so is our community! We coordinate and distribute the resources of community-based partners and donated zakat funds. Over the past 15 years, thousands of lives have been impacted by this work.

Our Roots
We are driven by a single goal; to do our part in strengthening the Muslim Community. Our team is comprised of dedicated, compassionate and educated individuals. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact on all of our pursuits. ISSSJ has team members fluent in Spanish, Malay, Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic to meet the unique needs of our participants. We seek to motivate Muslim families to thrive, regardless of income, status, race or culture. This allows for a great sense of integrity and contribution to the community’s integral growth. We stand against social and economic injustice by building community networks of housing support, workforce development, health and wellness, and youth enrichment.

Youth Auxiliary
Reinforcing our Commitment
The youth auxiliary is comprised of South Jersey Muslim Youth who are dedicated to service, advocacy and leadership. The youth auxiliary meets monthly to work on projects that support positive experiences and to help plan community events that directly impact Muslim youth.
